Striated Heron(Butorides striatus)
Striated Heron(Butorides striatus)
Photo description
Very similar to and sometimes considered conspecific with the North American Green Heron (Butorides virescens). Trinidad and Tobago seem to be at the dividing line of these birds with the Striated Heron more common in Trinidad and the Green Heron more common in Tobago. f/7.1, exp comp 0, iso 400, 1/400.
