This is a North Eurasian bird which is probably most familiar to our South East Asian birders. Arctic Warblers breed in the northern part of our continent - mostly in Siberia - and
migrate to South East Asia for winter. There are some pairs breeding every year here in Finland, which is (with north Norway) the west most place to find them regularly in Europe.
Geographic range: This species is found in Alaska, Scandinavia, Japan, and the northern regions of Europe and Asia. It winters in Southeast Asia.
