This is the last from my Barbados/Guyana series. This was just a quick trip and not primarily for birding; however it whetted my appetite for Guyana and I hope to return for a 10 day to 2 week birding trip. The main population of the country (90%) is along the coast primarily in Georgetown and the interior is quite undeveloped. There is a poor interior road system so most travel is done by bush plane. Tourism is not well developed and there are prime areas for wildlife watching. Attempts are being made to promote birding trips esp in the UK market where most of Guyanas tourists come from... f/5.6, iso 320, 1/320
