Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. This is the commonest of all pigeons in the montane forest. This subspecies is darker overall and the male also has blackish mottling on the breast. This is probably a female with the mottling extending onto the lower throat and upper breast. f/5.6, iso 1600, 1/500.
