Photo description
This bird was photographed on a lek in eastern Ecuador near an inland parrot 'salt lick'. They are a common bird in Ecuador and like primary forests most often near hilltops. They typically nest on the underside of an Astrocaryum palm leaf over a stream or small river. Their leks are in the higher levels of the understory. f/6.3, iso 1600, exp comp minus one-third, 1/100.
