Photographed from a canoe along a small tributary of the Rio Napo in Ecuador. Rare in Ecuador, scarce and poorly known in Colombia Formerly placed in Empidonax. Carl Euler (1834-1901) Swiss Vice-Consul in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1867-1901. f/6.3, iso 1600, exp comp minus two-thirds, 1/160.
