Also known as Mealy Parrot. Amazons are among the best-known parrots, not least because of their popularity as cagebirds. The mealy has a large white eye-ring, a distinct two-toned tail with the distal half yellow, red speculum on outer secondaries and dark blue trailing edge to all secondaries. From a parrot lick along the Rio Napo, Ecuador. f/6.3, iso 800, exp comp minus one and two-thirds, 1/200.
