ID features include bold white eye-ring and whitish submoustachial stripe and rear ear-covert patch. The upper mandible is dusky brown and the lower pinkish or flesh-colored. Crown and nape conspicuously streaked with dark brown. Breast and flanks narrowly streaked with brown. Also note rufous lesser-coverts. There is also a pale center of the auriculars framed by dark.
