Do you know anything about these birds? I see them in Lewisville, TX.. Are they related to ducks.. from afar they look like ducks.

The cormorants are in the Order Pelicaniforms while ducks are in the Order Anseriforms. That makes cormorants closer to tropicbirds, pelicans, gannets, boobies, darters, and frigatebirds and ducks closer to screamers, geese and swans.
