Photo description
Eastern Swainson's ("Olive-backed Thrush") usually show a more conspicuous lore stripe (giving a spectacled look) and more buff on the chest, face and flanks. Hermit Thrush has a rounder eyering and more contrasting gray flanks and gray face. Hermit also usually shows rusty edges to the primaries and has a shorter tail which usually looks rusty when seen in good light.
