Hartman Reserve Nature Center is a 288.5 acre wooded isle located in the heart of metropolitan Black Hawk County. The nature center is located in Cedar Falls three blocks north of the intersection of Rainbow Drive and Laurie Avenue. From Highway 218, take the Greenhill Road exit and follow the brown Hartman Reserve signs. From Highway 20, take the Highway 58 exit, north, travel until you get to the 18th St. exit, at bottom of exit go east on 18th St., follow until 18th Street turns into Rainbow Drive and continue to the intersection of Rainbow Dr. and Laurie Ave., follow the directional signs from that point.
