Photo description
The Neotropic has dark lores and the feathers extend further up the chin, forming a sharper angle between the feathers and the bare parts behind the gape. They are also smaller than Double-cresteds and have a longer tail. This is a juvenile, the adults have a white V along the border of the bill and facial feathers.
