Range from Mexico into South America. In January one of these birds along with Crimson-collared Grosbeak, and Green-breasted Mango showed up in south Texas which some people think may be due to a 'freeze' that reached 250 miles down into Mexico. This was apparently the first documented record of the Social Flycatcher in the ABA area.
